This Checkout & Purchase Policy (“Policy”) describes the terms that apply when you place an order on the Bauer Home Furnishings, Inc. (“Bauer Home Furnishings,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) website (the “Site”). By completing a checkout and placing an order, you agree to the terms of this Policy. This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and any other terms posted on the Site.
1. Order Acceptance
- Placing an order through the Site is an offer to purchase the selected products. All orders are subject to acceptance by Bauer Home Furnishings.
- We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, unauthorized or illegal activity, errors in product or pricing information, or unavailability of inventory.
- You will receive an order confirmation email once your order has been placed. This confirmation is an acknowledgment of receipt of your order and does not constitute acceptance of the order or a guarantee that the product will be available or shipped.
- A contract of sale is formed only when we ship your order or otherwise confirm that your order has been accepted.
2. Pricing and Errors
- All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.
- We make every effort to ensure pricing and product information on the Site is accurate. However, errors may occur. If a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to a typographical, pricing, or other error, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that product, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your payment method charged.
- If your payment method has already been charged for a purchase later canceled due to a pricing or listing error, we will issue a refund in the amount of the charge.
3. Payment
- We accept major credit and debit cards and other payment methods as indicated at checkout.
- By submitting payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the designated payment method.
- Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers.
- Your payment method will generally be charged at the time your order is placed. In some cases, authorization holds may be placed on your account prior to shipment.
4. Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be calculated and added to your order total at checkout based on the shipping address and applicable state and local tax laws.
5. Shipping and Delivery
- Estimated shipping and delivery timeframes provided at checkout or on product pages are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the items in your order and the delivery address.
- Risk of loss and title for products purchased pass to you upon our delivery to the shipping carrier.
- You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from incorrect address information provided at checkout.
- If a shipment is lost, damaged, or delayed by the carrier, please contact us so we can assist in resolving the issue.
6. Order Changes and Cancellations
- If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible after placing it. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request, but we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations once an order has entered processing or shipped.
- Orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled and must instead follow our return process described below.
7. Returns and Exchanges
- Most items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging, unless otherwise noted on the product page.
- To initiate a return, please contact us at the email address below with your order number and reason for return.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped, defective product, or damage in transit).
- A restocking fee may apply to certain returned items, including large furniture pieces, as indicated on the product page or at the time of return.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the returned item has been received and inspected. Please allow a reasonable processing time for the refund to appear on your statement.
8. Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the damage or defect. We will work with you to arrange a replacement, repair, or refund, as appropriate.
9. Product Availability
Products on the Site are subject to availability. If an item you ordered is unavailable after your order is placed, we will notify you and issue a refund for the unavailable item, or offer to substitute a comparable product with your consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bauer Home Furnishings, Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your purchase, including but not limited to delays in delivery or product unavailability.

We may update this Checkout & Purchase Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. The version of this Policy in effect at the time you place an order will govern that order.
